The position will assist clients in a residential substance use disorder program with daily living needs, transport clients to and from support meetings and monitor the activities of clients. This is a part time, on-call position. It requires willingness to work weekends, evenings, graveyard shifts, and holiday shifts. It is mandatory to attend monthly staff meetings. Pay includes a $1.00 per hour shift differential when working a graveyard schedule. Facility is open 24/7.

We are looking for a master's level clinician with crisis work experience to join our new, forward-thinking facility that is the first of its kind in southern Utah. This is a highly impactful role with the opportunity to help transform the lives of people trapped in the cycle of substance use or mental illness in the local community.

The Receiving Center is a short-term alternative to inpatient hospitalization or incarceration that specializes in short-term crisis resolution. This facility provides observation, screening and social detoxification for police drop-offs, emergency department transfers and walk-in crisis services. The primary purpose of the Receiving Center is to provide a short length of stay and a focus on stabilizing the crisis and returning a person to community supports.


This position performs a variety of complex secretarial, clerical and records maintenance duties as needed to expedite the delivery of services and programs provided through and coordinated by the mental health department. Performs routine reception and communication duties in receiving and directing incoming telephone calls and walk-in clients.  

This position is benefited, part-time (20-25 hours/wk), working Monday through Friday during business hours. Greatest need is to cover mid-day with some flexibility to cover longer shifts during pre-planned absences. Position works with adult clients in our St. George Outpatient office.
